- MUSIC AND SOUND -
(in reverse chronological order)
Zone Promo Song - The soundtrack to the Multimedia Zone video I worked on over Summer 2004. We wanted something that was upbeat, but not too melodic or catchy so that people would pay attention to the information in the video. Control - My final project for MUS 442 - Electro-Acoustic Music, written for djembe and tape. The song is supposed to represent a battle between man and machine, in a way, but unfortunately this live recording is not very clean. In Focus - My final project for MUS 441, which is the precursor to 442, mentioned above. This piece uses about 20 of my friends' voices saying words that are opposites, and I manipulated them so it sounds like what they are saying, in an onomatopoetic sort of way. Smear - The first recording studio project I had to do as an intern. The song is entirely MIDI-controlled synths, nothing live, and although it shows a lack of sophistication (mainly with percussion), I believe it is a good example of my style. Studio Gear - A list of audio equipment and musical instruments that I own Acronyms - A list of audio-related acronyms. I compiled this list out of 10% interest and 90% boredom. |
